Charon - Poster

File

Charon is the ferryman to Hades. In Greek Mythology when you die you should go to Hades, the underworld, but you must pay Charon with a coin for passage. For this reason there was a long-held superstitious habit of placing a coin on the lips or in the mouth of the dead before burial.

This illustration can create a dreamy and somber mood for any environment, and it inspires deep thoughts on life and death.
