Ladon of Hesperides - Poster

Ladon was a dragon in Greek Mythology appointed by gods to protect the garden of Golden Apples in Hesperides. The nymphs tended to the garden and the dragon protected the precious apples from both strangers and the Hesperides nymphs themselves, as few could be trusted. To eat from the golden apples would offer immortality, and they they were highly coveted.

This illustration can create a very spiritual and mystical mood while reminding us of the great mystery behind Ancient Greek Mythology.
